Hands-on developer with consultant experience skilled at converting design mockups, user interfaces, and custom templates into scalable and reusable code. Proficient in gathering technical requirements, defining system features, wireframes, sitemaps, prototypes and user interactions. Client-focused with excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
Originally from Rome, Italy, I started my career in tech at the age of 14. I love what I do, from building websites, to consulting, and I'm fascinated by how tech and design influence behaviors and habits. Moved to New York in 2008 to further develop my skillset. Inspired by the mixture of talents and entrepreneurial spirit, I later moved to San Francisco, to continue my passion for UX and web development.
Aim for the best solution, solving problems and reduce costs.
Starting from wireframing and prototyping tools like Paper/Pencil, Axure, Balsamiq, FramerJS and InvisionApp, it's important to create a user interface based on a solid understanding of the target market. The objective is to provide the best user experience according to different devices, usage and purpose.
Ideas are brought to life using creative software such as Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator, then converted into code using text/code editor tools like SublimeText. Cross-platform and responsive web applications are based on the latest technologies and frameworks such as: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and AngularJS.
Up and running does not equate to "the job is done", that's just the beginning! Based on user experience and captured statistical data, next steps are to improve, enhance and continuously innovate using tools like Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, A/B Testing and other statistical techniques.
